Poor communication, price changes on the phone vs in person, and unreasonable quotes for some repairs in hopes that customers do not know what they are buying. They also promised warranty information for some repairs and later went back on them after (be sure to get it in writing prior to having them fix anything). My car was also left trashed with one of my vents being ripped out and later being ghosted after asking about it.

Brought it for a coolant issue on my son’s car, and had to bring it right back shortly after. Came now to pick it up and allegedly fixed a thermostat related problem. Didn’t even fix it. It’s not even worth calling to have them try to fix it a third time. Don’t bring your vehicle here. Paid over $3k for a chopped amateur job. Beyond ridiculous. If you aren’t capable of fixing something, don’t lie about it Eric!

Love everything about the place. Service, employees, price and time. Did so good with fleet of work vans I had, started taking my personal car there & they haven’t missed a beat! Never had a mechanic shop keeps close so low but quality of work doesn’t budge. I urge everyone to give them a chance & watch the magic happen! Thanks everyone at the shop!

10/10 the best shop in Lubbock. They are genuinely honest people; they are very knowledgeable when it comes to different makes and models. I drive a Q50, and I've gotten almost all my major maintenance done at J Dee's. They take my warranty, so that is extremely helpful. They've replaced my valve cover gasket and even my transmission with a brand new 7AT in my Q, so trust me when I say these are the guys you want 100%, especially if you have an import. The customer service is always amazing; their advisor is extremely helpful, nice, and respectful.

I've had superb service from J Dee's for several years on 3 of my vehicles. They performed A/C and Airbag repairs on my '06 Jetta TDI, A/C Service, and electrical repair on my son's '04 Xterra and corrected some drivability issues with my '95 Land Cruiser. The estimates provided prior to repair and even when it came to final invoice have always been spot on. If there were any change orders, they always call me prior to performing the work. Yes, they are busy and it may take them a while to work through other cars to get to mine. I'm okay with it as I don't want to rush them. I want the job done right. I highly recommend them for repair on any import you have. UPDATE: J Dee's recently services both my VW Golf and Nissan Xterra over the past few months. Both repairs we made in a very timely manner and the repairs costs were much less than expected. Communication as always was better than anticipated. Keep up the good work, J Dee's!!!
